Well yesterday we headed off on a road trip to Leeds for a wander around the city and a spot of lunch. Luke enjoyed the drive through the countryside even though he slept for most of it lol. We had a nice walk around all the nice quirky shops and bought some yummy chocolates and then headed up to the Corn Exchange.
The last time we were in Leeds the Corn Exchange was lots of little shops but now it has been turned into food heaven and I loved it! Luke thought he was in a castle so he was in his element and I thoroughly enjoyed taking in the aromas at the Fromagerie and the Bakery.
In the middle is a restaurant owned by Anthony Flinn and the food really was deeeeeelicious and I can't wait to go back. Both Anthony and Anthony Senior were there and they were both very friendly and really loved Luke and took him off to the chocolate shop. Not that Luke ate any of the stuff but he did enjoy mauling it and it was a very nice touch to be so welcoming of toddlers. Luke of course thrived off the attention byt was on his best behaviour with the promise of some Peppa pig goodies after lunch haha
